Waterworks Infrastructure Solutions Company LB Water Opens New Pittsburgh-area Location
April 09, 2020
LB Water has announced the opening of a new facility in Hopewell Township to better serve waterworks infrastructure businesses in Western Pennsylvania. The location, opening on April 20th, will be known as LB Water Pittsburgh. The company’s current location in Oakdale will be relocated to the Hopewell site.
“LB Water is all about our customers, and the investment we’re making in LB Water Pittsburgh is about being able to better serve the important Western Pennsylvania market,” said Shawn Pulford, LB Water’s CEO.
Since opening in Oakdale in 2012, LB Water has seen steady growth. Space needs have exceeded the current 12,000-square-foot warehouse and 1-acre product yard. LB Water Pittsburgh will more than double Oakdale’s size, with a 30,000-square-foot building and 2 acres of outside storage.
Chad Cooney, location manager for LB Water Oakdale, will make the move to helm the new Hopewell Township facility. “With easy access from the I-376 Hopewell exit, and plenty of room for customer parking, we’re looking to welcome new and existing walk-in customers,” Cooney said. “Our larger in-stock inventory will help us deliver on the commitment of providing the right material, the right place, the right time.”
LB Water Pittsburgh will continue to offer delivery to customer warehouses and job sites with its own fleet of trucks. The delivery area of 60+ miles extends LB Water’s service area into West Virginia and Ohio.
LB Water Pittsburgh is located at 300 Corporation Drive in the Hopewell Business Park. An open house celebration is planned for later in the year.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2020, LB Water is headquartered in Selinsgrove, Pa., and has eight locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. A 100-percent employee-owned company, LB Water’s success is built on exceptional industry knowledge, customer service and support, as well as expansive inventory and expert training.
