LB Water Update on COVID-19

As promised in the past week, LB Water is committed to keeping an open line of communication with our customers and business partners.

These are dynamic and uncertain times. With the recent announcement by the Governor of Pennsylvania that all non-essential business must shut down, we have had to make adjustments in how we work in this climate. That announcement has the largest impact on our business in PA. This announcement does not force LB Water to close. Our business is included on the Governor’s list of essential businesses. What does this mean? We will continue to service our customers and do our part to ensure safe and clean drinking water is available to all. Water is a vital resource, and we are committed to ensuring that we remain open to serve the needs of the utility industry. We have, however, scaled back our operations to meet current market demands. If you call, we promise to be here for you.

The health of our employees, customers, and partners is of the utmost importance, and we have implemented a multitude of necessary precautions to ensure their safety. We are working diligently to ensure the safety of all our employees and learning from the best practices of others. We have instituted travel restrictions, activated social distancing protocols, and established work from home policies. We are working closely with our suppliers to ensure they have appropriate business continuity plans in place.  

Our executive team continues to monitor the situation, and further action will be taken if necessary.
