LB Water an Authorized Distributor of VEPO CrossConnex Online Backflow Management System

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – LB Water, an industry leader in supplying waterworks-infrastructure solutions to cities, counties, municipalities and businesses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, is now an authorized distributor of VEPO CrossConnex. The CrossConnex software is designed to help water utilities better manage backflow compliance efforts to ensure contaminants are not infiltrating their potable water networks.

State and county regulations require certain customers connected to public water systems to install and maintain backflow-prevention devices to protect water networks from contamination and to have the devices tested annually. Utilities serving the customers must arrange for registered, third-party testers to collect the data, which utilities then must maintain, track and report to regulatory agencies.

Many utilities still use a manual testing system that involves handwritten test results, filing of paper documents and manual entry of test data to create reports – expensive, time consuming processes that require physical storage and can often lead to data-entry errors.

The VEPO CrossConnex software, which VEPO offers free to water utilities, streamlines the process. Utilities can require their independent testers to use the software, with end users paying the testing costs. The cloud-based software and available Apple iOS and Android apps allow utilities to have secure access to information and conveniently manage their account and testing data.
